Full Membership
As a Full member of Lancaster Golf Club, you have unlimited access, 7 days a week, to one of the finest courses in Lancashire. You will be eligible to play in Club competitions, including knockouts and trophies, and represent the Club as part of a Club team. Full members have voting rights within the Club and can be elected to serve on the Board or as Captain or Lady Captain.

Intermediate 7-Day: members age 19-39 who pay reduced fees
Weekday Membership
Being a 5 Day member is similar to Full membership but access to the course is limited to weekdays.

5 day: members can play the course Monday to Friday and enter weekday competitions.

5 day plus: members can play the course Monday to Friday and enter weekday competitions plus 10 designated Saturdays and Sundays in social/mixed competitions.
Recreational Membership
We also offer a Recreational membership for people who are time constrained or have a limited budget, or who for other reasons cannot play golf at Lancaster on a regular basis. These do
not entitle members to participate in Club competitions or teams.

Novice golfers
Lancaster welcomes golfers of all abilities, including those who are relatively new to the game and who want some coaching and on-course experience.

Intro to Golf Level 1:
Tailored for adults learning to play golf. Up to 4 months membership including 6 x 30-minute individual lessons, 4 x 18 hole vouchers, or 8 x 9 hole vouchers. Unlimited access to the practice facilities, and social membership with food and drink discount. Level 1 provides individuals a chance to gain a better understanding of the game, in regards to equipment, clothing, etiquette, pace of play, and course management.

Intro to Golf Level 2:
Tailored for adults developing their game and working towards getting a handicap.
Up to 6 months membership including 6 x 30-minute individual lessons, 6 x 18 hole vouchers, or 12 x 9 hole vouchers.
Unlimited use of all clubhouse and practice facilities.
Introduction to a mentor to help you get to grips with rules, etiquette, equipment, and how to gain a handicap.
Young people
Our junior section has a reputation for producing some of the best young golfers in the area, many of whom have progressed to play at County level. We also have a variety of reduced fee memberships for students in full time education.

Junior: members up to the age of 18 who may play the course, participate in competitions, represent the Club in teams, participate in organised group coaching (
additional payment may be required) and use all practice facilities and the clubhouse.

Student: members leaving Lancaster to attend university and who reside away from their home address, are eligible to play the course and play in competitions on payment of 40% of the normal subscription for their age.

Lancaster University Student: available to members of Lancaster University Student Golf Society. May play the course 7 days a week and play in Club competitions (subject to timing restrictions and excluding Board and Trophy competitions). The membership runs alongside term time from September through to June.
Social Membership
As a social member of Lancaster Golf Club, you are entitled to use the clubhouse and to enjoy discounts on room hire, food and drink.
